I had lots of fun on this trip. I got to see the old towns of Magome and Tsumago. The old houses, little shops and the fields were all so beautiful. They had lots of interesting things at the little shops, such as chestnut ice cream! I also saw lots of beautiful shrines and temples.  During part of the hike, I went through the woods. The air was so crisp and clean and it felt good walking through the woods. The leaves on the trees were just in the middle of changing from green to red, and it was very pretty. I saw two giant waterfalls. The water in the woods was so clear and sparkling, it was so refreshing walking along the stream. I got great exercise, got to see all of the old, historic buildings and enjoy the beautiful nature. It was such a GREAT experience!  I hope I can go again someday!
